Time to dust the sand off our summer bodies and get back in shape for Contact. Regardless if you've taken one contact class or one hundred we will take some time to reconnect with the floor, reawaken our listening skills and get strong again. The closest thing to a "CI Bootcamp" that you can imagine.
No class Thanksgiving Monday Oct 13

Oct 20, 27, Nov 3, 10
Time to play! In this series of 4 classes, we will engage in a different set of rules/games each week designed by Monica. Taking time to play will loosen up our practice and free up our imagination and ideas about what Contact Improvisation is. Ideally participants will have some experience/introduction to CI already, but please connect with Monica if you are unsure of your experience level/suitability.
$60 -- registration/payment at first class, cash or cheque only
No class Monday Nov 17 due to EDAM show

Nov 24, Dec 1, 8, 15
This four class series will focus on finding flow in our dancing. We will explore different exercises to soften physically, relax mentally, and yield to physical forces such as gravity, momentum and weight flow - and will apply these principles to solo, duet and group improvisation. A wonderful opportunity to take the "ambition" out of your dancing and practice being in the moment.
