Accessibility + How to Get Here

EDAM’s studio is a ground-floor wheelchair accessible studio located inside the Western Front building at 303 E 8th Ave Vancouver V5T 1S1. The studio is through the first door on the left from the main entrance. The building has two ground-floor, single-stall gender neutral washrooms, one of which is accessible. There is a small lip on the front door of the building as well as on the inside door for the entrance to the studio.

EDAM is closest to transit stops at Broadway/Main (Buses: 8, 9, 19, 99). There is free street parking in the neighbourhood (check for hour-limits and permit signs) around Dude Chilling Park. Bike racks are located at the entrance to the building.

Classes, Jams, Workshops, and Special Offerings:
Please arrive 10 to 15 min beforehand to change and sign-in. Entry to the building is only granted 15 min before and 15 min after an activity starts.

We recommend bringing a water bottle and wearing long sleeves, pants, and layers for changing body temperatures. You may wish to wear light kneepads. EDAM sells dance kneepads at the studio for $40. To help us keep the space scent-reduced, please refrain from wearing scented products. Outside shoes are not permitted in the dance studio.
